Hi-Energy Mobile Cargo & Vehicle Non-Intrusive Inspection System
The VXM-6 is a mobile hi-energy non-intrusive screening system designed to verify the contents of cargo carrying vehicles, ISO containers, large cargo and palletized goods. It helps identify hidden contraband such as weapons, explosives and narcotics while providing high-penetration X-ray imaging for effective inspection.
Feature highlights
- High penetration. Hi-energy X-ray technology provides 330 mm of steel penetration for effective inspection of cargo and vehicles.
- Mobile & flexible. A mobile system designed for rapid deployment and scanning of cargo and large vehicles, with an integrated scan drive and on-board power generator.
- Effective imaging. High-performance X-ray imaging with 1 mm wire resolution in air, 4 mm spatial resolution, and 1% contrast resolution behind 100 mm of steel.
- High throughput. Provides up to 25 target scans per hour in standard Drive Through Mode, with an option for up to 120 target scans per hour in Portal Mode.
- Material discrimination. Provides 4-color minimum material discrimination for Organic, Inorganic, Light Metals and Heavy Metals.
Overview
The VXM-6 is a mobile hi-energy non-intrusive screening system designed to verify the contents of cargo carrying vehicles, ISO containers, large cargo and palletized goods and identify hidden contraband such as weapons, explosives and narcotics.
The VXM-6 is delivered, installed and commissioned road ready, with the equipment and features required to perform inspections at critical national infrastructure locations, especially Border Crossings and Sea or Dry Port environments.
The system is designed to maximise mobility in the screening process. With its unique detector boom assembly, state-of-the-art linear accelerator, automatic transmission, integrated scan drive and on-board power generator, the VXM-6 is designed to rapidly deploy and scan cargo and large vehicles.
