Hi-Energy Drive Through Cargo & Vehicle Non-Intrusive Inspection System

The VXP-6 is a portal variant hi-energy non-intrusive screening system designed to inspect cargo carrying vehicles, ISO containers, large cargo and palletised goods. It enables operators to identify hidden contraband such as weapons, explosives and narcotics while providing high-penetration X-ray imaging for effective inspection.

Feature highlights

  • High penetration. High-energy X-ray technology provides 330 mm of steel penetration for effective inspection of cargo and vehicles.
  • Effective imaging. The VXP-6 provides high-resolution imaging performance with 1 mm wire resolution in air and 4 mm horizontal and vertical spatial resolution.
  • Wide inspection capability. Designed to inspect cargo carrying vehicles, ISO containers, large cargo and palletised goods.
  • Easy to relocate. The system is designed to be easily relocated with OEM assistance, allowing deployment at different inspection locations.
  • Easy to maintain. The VXP-6 is designed for straightforward maintenance and operation in demanding inspection environments.

Overview

The VXP-6 is a Hi-Energy Drive Through Cargo and Vehicle Non-Intrusive Inspection System designed to verify the contents of cargo carrying vehicles, ISO containers, large cargo and palletised goods.

The system is designed to identify the presence of hidden contraband, including weapons, explosives and narcotics, and is fully self-contained with the equipment and features required for inspections at critical national infrastructure locations, particularly ports and border crossings.

The VXP-6 supports scanning throughput of up to 120 target scans per hour. General expected throughput is based on 60 trucks per hour, nominally carrying 40-foot ISO containers. The System Operator/Image Inspection Stations can also be installed within existing site facilities such as Customs or Port Authority security control offices.
